Role Purpose
To plan, implement and evaluate all Human Resources services, policies and programs for ALJCI International.
Key Activities
1. Impact
Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
Determines competitive compensation plan including benefits such as health insurance, housing etc.
• Determines travel and hospitality policy;
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
• Keeps records of benefits such as insurance and housing, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for reporting and archiving.
• Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and safety.
• Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
• Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
• Administers benefits program such as health insurance, housing, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier; coordinates with the Safety Director.
• Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
• Prepares budget of human resources operations.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
• Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.
• Represents organization at personnel-related meetings and participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings.
• Supervises HR consultants, assistants and temporary staffing as needed.
2. Communication
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues;
• Responds to all inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and program
• Coordinates with the other related departments;
• Maintains good relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
3. Innovation
• Develops human resources system that meets top management information needs;
• Determine competitive compensation plan.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
• Human Resources Management;
• Benefits Administration;
• Performance Management;
• Communication Processes;
• Compensation and Wage Structure;
• Classifying Employees;
• Employment Law in the U.A.E.;
• Fluency in English
• Arabic is a plus.
Education •Bachelor degree in human resources or management, with HR qualification
Experience
• Min 5-7 years’ work experience in HR, incl. at least 3 years running HR operations
• In the HR field in the U.A.E.

• Good analytical skills, problem solving capacity.
