Reed Specialist Recruitment's client is looking for a Senior Information Security Officer in Doha, Qatar.



Our client has a well established operation in Doha, and the right candidate will be responsible for the security technology planning support and will manage the security risk with expert planning, analysis and decision making.





Job Objective:



• Access Creation & Modification

• Security Audit.

• Penetration test.

• Implementations of new systems

• Configuration changes.

• Infrastructure security developments

• Policies compliance investigation



Key Accountabilities:



• Co-ordinate information security across the enterprise using ISO27001 compliant practices.

• Identification and detailing requirements for access control systems and methodology, techniques and administration along with methods of attack and techniques for monitoring and penetration testing.

• Identification and detailing requirements for communications and network security, internet / intranet / extranet security, e-mail security along with methods of network attacks and relevant countermeasures.

• Define policies, standards, procedures and guidelines towards security management concepts and principles, risk management along with security management planning and security awareness training schedules.

• Identification and detailing requirements for applications and system development security along with methods of attack and systems development controls.

• Identification and detailing requirements for system architecture for implementing cryptographic functions, cryptographic concepts, methodology, and practices along with methods of attack and defending cryptosystems.

• Identification and providing countermeasures for common flaws and security issues pertaining to system architecture and design and defining principles of security models, architectures and evaluation criteria.

• Identification and detailing requirements for operations security along with resource protection requirements, auditing, intrusion detection and operations controls

• Identification and detailing requirements for business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning.

• Defining policies and procedures for incident handling, investigations under major categories of computer crimes along with definition of usage ethics.

• Identification and detailing requirements for physical security of mission - critical facilities and data center along with controlled access and layered defense through technical controls.

• Provide expert advice on all aspects of information security.

• Conduct information security awareness programs, and participate in building up data security skills across the organization.

• Periodic review of security procedures.
