1. Implementing Sr. Level admin's instructions to setup an international-scale Internet websites hosting using up to date technologies and tools, based on Microsoft Technologies and/or Unix/Linux operating systems.
2. Deploy and maintain high security measures to guarantee site integrity, authenticity and protection against possible security threats.
3. Carry out day-to-day system administration tasks, including:
1) System tuning and optimization.
2) Assure best server performance and availability.
3) Perform daily system monitoring, by reviewing system and application logs.
4) Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
5) Administer the creation, operation, modification, and deletion of username and passwords.
6) Install and maintain software updates periodically.
4. Execute a comprehensive backup strategy, guaranteeing and perform fast disaster recovery with zero data loss.
5. Implement quality control measures for Infrastructure, including performance and reliability with coordination with Sr. Level Admin including:
1) Failover test.
2) Security check.
3) Backup/Restore test.
4) Server Health check.
5) Network Performance Check.
6. Help in training fellow Jr. System administrators and support staff on system administration concepts and tasks.
7. Participate in discussions related to changes intended to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
8. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
