JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the syllabus, teaching delivery, assessment methods and quality procedures for all aspects of English language programs.
To co-ordinate with ELT Team Leaders, SDT project managers, BAE project managers and customer Liaison Officers concerning all aspects of course administration and implementation.
To manage a team of teachers involved with delivering training.
To supervise and manage training process including progress testing, materials selection, preparation and development of materials syllabus development and preparation of schemes of work, implementation of courses, record keeping and reporting to the relevant authorities.
Any other reasonable task at the direction of ELT Team Leader or Project Management.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To be responsible for the implementation of courses at central and external locations in KSA for SDT.
To be responsible for day to day work and target achievement of team of EL Teachers involved with English Course.
To liaise closely with BAE and SDT project managers and customer liaison officers.
To review team members performance through observations.
To manage, direct and plan work load of allocated ELT team members.
To ensure customer focus and quality of teaching delivery.
To liaise with external verifying bodies such as IELTS to ensure that arrangement for examinations are effectively carried out.
To select and develop appropriate course material to match students abilities and requirements.
To provide continuous assessment of students learning program.
To ensure that all quality process documentation requirements are implemented and communicated to team members.
To prepare students for appropriate external English Language qualifications.
To develop self/access independent learning materials and strategies.
