Junior System Engineer - Qatar District Cooling Company

Job Objective

Ensure all Information Technology infrastructure and applications are always available and up to date to all Qatar Cool and Subsidiaries’ employees



Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities



* Provide IT technical support to all internal Qatar Cool users on problems related to hardware and software.

* Install, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, printers, fax machines, and other related equipment, devices, and systems for Qatar Cool.

* Ensure all departmental technology requirements, critical complaints and infrastructure needs are met on time and are prioritized appropriately

* Interact with end users to understand their requirements and takes necessary steps to assist them in addressing those requirements within the acceptable established IT policies & procedures

* Carry out the hardware repairs, maintenance, technical assistance, and support on a wide range of computers/laptops and peripherals.

* Assist the transition from old to new systems through appropriate training and hand holding support to all con

* Perform first level troubleshooting and analysis when communication links go down.

* Support the networking requirements as per Qatar Cool’s standards.

* Ensure that all IT equipment complies with industry standards.

* Provide day to day support on computer systems (backup, Antivirus, Active Directory, File server, VPN client, etc.)

* Perform regular inventory and documentation work that is related to the IT infrastructure of the company.
