Middle East Jobs: Design Manager-Viaduct

Our client, a leading construction contractor in the Middle East have an urgent requirement for a Design Manager to be based out of Egypt. They are one of the region’s largest corporations with projects and investments across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and North Africa. Since most of their projects are primarily spread across North America and Europe they would ideally want an American or European candidate with 10-15 years of experience in previous mega viaducts / bridges projects. You would need to coordinate with the project designer for the complete design of the project including the viaduct, related utilities and permanent works and manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner reporting to the Project Manager. You would need to lead the design team to achieve milestones and other key project objectives, including productivity and budget targets and also manage delivery of design
