Payroll Accountant - Qatar National Convention Centre

• To ensure the payroll, systems and processes across the organization are appropriate to business needs, producing accurate and timely employee remuneration payments together with effective management and administration of employee benefits.

• Complies with state local legal requirements, by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

• Development of Payroll Systems to ensure that, changes in business activities and other regulatory requirements are fully supported by the payroll systems.

• Posting timesheets, tracking benefit time, calculating accruals, preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

• Preparing payroll accounting policies and procedures, streamlining and automating payroll processes.

• Control, coordination and reporting of payroll matters such as ESB, medical insurance and other employee benefit plans etc.

• Establish protocols and procedures for maintaining the payroll system in order to accommodate changes affecting the way in which the system is structured, managed and maintained, e.g. changes to organizational structures, business unit and accounting codes, employee benefit plans and other regulatory requirements.

• Setting the work standards for data entry, payroll processing, codification etc., which Payroll and operational staff must follow in order to ensure systems integrity and accuracy of recorded employee data.

• Production of accurate and meaningful payroll management information and reports as and when requested.

• Maintaining and managing all documents related to payroll processes.

• Liaise with Finance ensuring that all appropriate processes and procedures are followed to meet the requirements, before the payments are released.
