Our client, a leading construction contractor in the Middle East have an urgent requirement for a Planning Manager with extensive expereince in constrcution projects of Museums, Viaducts and Railways to be based out of Egypt. They are one of the region’s largest corporations with projects and investments across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and North Africa. Since most of their projects are primarily spread across North America and Europe they would ideally want an American or European candidate with 15+ years of experience in previous mega construction projects. You will be laying the foundation for the entire project by establishing the planning methodology for the project’s schedule and ensure its implementation by the planning staff keeping track of sequence of construction operations for a particular project in conjunction with the project manager. Manage and anticipate project contract's demands in terms of labor, material, equipment and time schedule. Managing and analyzing the cash flow of the project is also going to be a part of your responsibility. Other tasks would also include collection and reviewing the project file after submission of all the required data to tender department Head and prepare presentation for the project as required, Developing logistics plan for tender and active projects in coordination with Logistics department, advising problem solving techniques regarding areas of concern about the project progress, Supervising the assigned project planners to issue the master schedule according to contract requirements with compliance with company procedures.
