Brief Posting Description

The Radiologist will provide efficient, effective and professional radiology services to the QF Community through the QF Primary Healthcare Clinic.

Detailed Description

• Radiologist shall set the equipment to obtain the best density, detail, and contrast of the area being imaged.

• Radiologist shall take preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation for the patient and the radiologist.

• The Radiologist will be responsible for ensuring that adequate professional reports are available in a timely manner.

• Radiologist shall apply their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to the process in order to help the physician diagnose problems.

• Radiologist shall have to make reports based on the x-rays for the patient and the doctor.

• Radiologist must be able to communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different types of patients including the elderly, ailing, and handicapped.

• Radiologist should exhibit understanding knowledge to all the latest technology machines.

• Radiologist shall make sure that all the equipment that are used to diagnose patients are in good condition.

• Radiologist shall ensure a constant contact with local and international institutions to remain current with planning and training developments.

• Radiologist shall take all necessary precautions to maintain safe conditions in laboratory for laboratory personnel.

• Radiologist shall perform preventative maintenance procedures on laboratory equipment and perform and evaluate laboratory quality control procedures. In addition, prepare reagents for use in test performance.

• Radiologist shall plan, organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate medical laboratory activity.

• Radiologist shall advice regarding status and adequacy of equipment, supplies, personnel training and operating efficiency.

• Radiologist shall participate actively in health awareness programs and initiate new health screening programs.

• Radiologist shall comply with the legal requirements and medical ethics of keeping the privacy and confidentiality in the form of images such as x-rays, ultrasound images and photographs or any other clinical records. No disclosure of any medical information revealed by a patient or discovered in connection with the treatment of a patient.

• Undertakes other similar or related duties as directed by the Manager.
