Sales Executive

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the travel industry including the workings of tour operators, , international markets, leisure suppliers as well as working knowledge of the functions of travel trade organisations and government tourism bodies.

• Experience in the E-Commerce environment with clear understanding of technology in the tourism/hospitality industry.

• Knowledge of tourism industry and its global distribution sales channels, e-commerce, direct sales and online marketing. Essential knowledge of online Sales & Marketing best practices. Ability to adapt and respond quickly to a fast changing tourism environment

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications and company provided software. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, project and Presentation skills.

• Strong negotiating skills, with ability to communicate with external suppliers and customers, to balance the needs of customers

• Manage all sales activities that include customer acquisition, lead generation, follow up on leads, business generation, minimize and support account receivable and new offerings conceptualization as per strategy and revenue targets.

• Identifying and Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business and actively pursue new corporate travel customer relationships.

• Negotiate Manage and Conclude the terms of agreement to close deals.

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails

• Responding to sales requirements from existing and potential customers by listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately products to make a sale.

• Providing weekly/monthly sales reports, annual forecasts and proactive insights to the Travel Manager and Manager - Sales.

• Maintaining company's contact management database with accurate, up-to-date contact and activity details.

• Providing feedback from staff members and existing and potential customers to enhance service delivery, to theTravel Manager and Manager - Sales

• Monitoring and reporting on the activities of competitors and potential collaborators and to identify business opportunities and threats.
