Ticketing Consultant

* Be responsible for manually issuing tickets using CRS/GDS Amadeus.

* You will be responsible for issuing published and nett remit fares, reissuing and automated MCOs.

* You will also be responsible for contacting airlines to deal with fare queries, setting up PTAs, TODs, and lost ticket enquiries

* Issue tickets as accurately as possible in order to minimize operational and costs to the business

* Highlight inefficiencies and incorrect/ineffective ticketing procedures in order to drive best practice for all carriers ticketing requirements

* Be proactive in cross-training across the department to achieve a competent and flexible team that can meet the ebb and flow of demand within the business

* Raise automation inefficiencies with current processes to drive higher automation abilities

* Quality control tickets issuance and ticket matching processes

* Provide timely resolutions and reasons to nett remit errors, exception reports and billings that are received and provide solutions to decrease these

In the varied role as a Reservations Consultant you will be dealing with a wide variety of world-wide airfares for all airlines.

- You will be book a mix of return, open jaw, RTW and multi-sector itineraries

- You will use a variety of different air contracts and fares.

- As an Airfares Travel Consultant you will be liaising with agents in the travel industry

- Working both over the phone and via e-mail, offering excellent customer service.

- Working to targets to achieve excellent commission on top a competitive basic
