Job Description:

The Interfacing Manager is responsible for the interface management with:

• All the Utility Owners and

• All other contractors operating in the area.

The Interfacing Manager reports to the Project’s Director and he is in continuous cooperation with the Construction Manager as well as the Contracts & Project’s Control Manager and the Engineering Manager.

Interfacing Manager Duties & responsibilities are:

• To be in continuous contact with all the Utility Owners and present the eventually status and progress of all the related issues; special attention will be given to probable future requirements of the Utility Owners and any "waiting structures" that might be required to be constructed for crossing the rail track embankment, without affecting the trains operation in a later stage.

• To survey & investigate with his teams all the interferences that may occur between the CTW 320 works and the various Services (pipes, ducts, cables of all kind);

• To present to the Utility Owners the designed solutions given by the Employer for the protection and / or diversion of their Services;

• To present to the Utility Owners the designed shop drawings & proposals prepared by the Contractor and seek their acceptance, additional guidelines and approval;

• To keep Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for each discussion for future reference;

• To execute with the cooperation of the Construction Manager all agreed diversions and / or protection of utilities;

• To cooperate and coordinate activities with all other contractors operating in the area, such as S&T Contractor.

• To hand over to the relevant Utility Owner and diversion or protection of interference, upon completion of the corresponding works;

• To investigate, design, execute and make good any other activity related with interferences of Services all in accordance with the Contract requirements - specifications to the approval of the Engineer and the Employer.
