1. Implement, monitor and document patient safety Program for health care facility in coordination with safety department.2. Monitor high risk sites and improve safety in coordination with safety department.3. Document and monitor the list of hazardous medical material sites, storage and disposal.4. Monitor medical waste disposal in a scientific process as per MSD regulations.5. Monitor and document periodical staff training in Safety Program in health care facility.6. Monitor safety reports of building periodically in coordination of Maintenance department.7. Participate in planning or improvement of buildings according to Safety Program in coordination with Engineering and Maintenance Departments.8. Monitor and document Major Disaster Plan and its drills (at least once a year) in coordination with safety department.
9. Distribute Major Disaster Plan to all relevant departments in coordination with safety department.10. Monitor Fire and Safety drills (twice/year) in coordination with safety department.11. Participates quality and patient safety Activities (system control, system improvement, staff development. safety)
12.Review and analysis of all the occurrence/variance/accident (OVA) reports13. Documentation of OVA action plan.14. Follow up of recommendations made from the risk management activities and ensuring action is taken.15. Completing monthly OVA report.16. Initiation of risk management meetings, action teams, and recording the events/ minutes of the meetings.17. Develops and implements relevant policies relating to the patient safety issue.18. Participates in orientation program for the new hire in the hospital and with the quality and patient safety workshops as speaker.19. Make proactive risk assessment in the hospital.20. Response to patient complains and makes proper investigation and write final report
