DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide technical solutions in order to bid and be able to detail design fluid process systems throughout all phases of project lifecycle to completion2. Work with NOV R&D and other process groups to lead the transfer of technology and introduction of new product to a multi-disciplined engineering team3. Work with Proposals and Engineering Teams to value engineer and standardize the core product portfolio4. Attend and participate in HAZOPs, bid clarification meetings, technical discussions regarding NOV technologies, project kick off meetings, visit client assets and provide process input to ensure customer care is at the foremost position5. Present to clients and other industry professionals6. Support and contribute with training and mentoring of the sales / proposals / process engineering teams7. Perform simulation studies and develop heat & mass balance sheets8. Develop, review and approve PFDs and P&IDs to suit process requirements9. Calculate and size process equipment (such as pressure vessels, 3-Phase Separators, De-oiling Hydrocyclones, filters, pumps, eductors, etc.)10. Perform hydraulic calculations and line sizing of single and multiphase fluid flow and slurry flow pipelines11. Select and size control and manual valves to suit process requirements12. Prepare process datasheet for Equipment & Instrumentation13. Perform PSV calculations and generate process datasheets14. Request quotations from equipment suppliers15. Evaluate sub-vendor proposals and reply to bid clarifications16. Create and develop proposal and enquiry documents, detail design and specify for purposes of quotation, purchase and manufacture17. Carry out single and inter-discipline checks and reviews18. Be aware of ATEX, ASME, PED and IEC Regulations19. Have an understanding of common place industry materials and their application20. Have an understanding of instrumentation and its’ use21. Have an understanding of NACE and NORSOK standards
