1)Study of the social life of patients in order to provide assistance to them or to their families when needed.
2)Submission of proposals that would regulate and improve the service level through periodic survey of the views of patients.
3)Visit inpatients and patients in order to conduct social research for cases when needed.
4)Help patients who need rehabilitation services with medical rehabilitation centers or vocational training or special education after their stability or discharge from the hospital or the end of the treatment period.
5)Participate in social research that aims to identify the phenomena and problems that affect the health of the individual and society.
6)Participate in health education programs for patients and their families.
7)Implementation of social service programs at the hospital.
8)Attend meetings and seminars of the department.
9)Train the social service students from universities and institutes.
10)Perform any other tasks assigned to him within his competence.
