Logistics Officer - Warehouse and Transport - Oxfam

• Manages people, assets, warehouse and fleet procedures.

• Monitors performance of team or external contacts and gives advice / guidance to managers in a specialist area.

• Objectives are set within well-defined limits although some adaptation on day-to-day issues may be required.

• Problems may vary but solutions can be defined from previous experience with judgement being required to choose and apply the most appropriate solution.

• Regular communication is normally with their immediate manager but some posts require a broad range of communication (including negotiation) internally and externally.

• To be responsible and accountable for ensuring that warehouse / Transport activities in Za’atari camp are carried out in accordance with Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Procedures Manual and the Oxfam Logistics Policy and in accordance with local laws.

• Management of Storage Management.

• Management of Vehicle movements and maintenance.

• Timely Submission of ware house stock and vehicle fuel reports on a monthly basis to senior logistics officer.

• Line Management Support and Development of warehouse assistant and drivers.

• Any task reasonably assigned to you by your line manager or designated person.
