Safety Officer - DCNS

DCNS is looking for DCNS Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a coordinator and safety agent.

Your mission consists in assisting the “superintendent” of the ship, in the safety management and the follow-up of the works to guarantee the respect of safety rules.

To do it, you will owe:

- Contribute to the coordination of the multidisciplinary teams (DCNS, subcontractors, customers) and to the safety in the worksite.

- Identify any risks due to the coactivity.

- Submit, after analyze, all daily permit to work to the Commanding Officer and DCNS superintendent for endorsement during the safety coordination meeting.

- Use the software “permit to work”.

- Manufacture signage poster to highlight risks.

- Propose efficient solutions to eliminate or master the risks due to the coactivity.

- Make sure of the application by the workers of the Safety standards in the "safety protocol" of the maintenance stage.

- Promote safe behaviour on board.

- Participate to the coordination meeting.

- Assess and follow-up of housekeeping.
