To provide leadership and direction to the Road Transportation department of Logistics and ensure it delivers high quality efficient road transportation services to customers, while maintaining profitability through cost optimization & higher asset utilization



• Responsible for decisions on pricing, requirement of new trucks & drivers

• Responsible for laying down policy guidelines, cost norms, transportation specific incentive schemes, etc

• Decisions on external hiring of trucks through other Transporters & renting out trucks to clients during a period of excess capacity
