Account Manager - Career Hunters

Summary

Responsible for overall management of an a group of accounts

Responsibility

• Is the keeper of a brand

• Oversees all direct reports and approves their contributions

• Ensures that the strategic goals of the account are communicated to the organization and met

• Oversees the day-to-day client deliverables

• Is intimately familiar with the client's business and marketing objectives

• Knows client's bigger competitive environment

• Financially responsible for all accounts costs

• Fosters innovative solutions

• Identifies short-term and long-term opportunities

• Keeps abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances

• Aggressively pursues new ways to contribute to overall agency and client profitability.

• Accountable for maintaining client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time, and on budget

Tasks

• Is the product expert

• Manages billing and account receivables and insures timely client invoice approval/payment

• Requests resource allocation for assignment

• Shares work with appropriate disciplines and teams

• Briefs Creative, Media and Strategy

• Presents recommendations to client with appropriate leadership

• Presents analysis to client

• Develops proactive business building ideas

• Participates in weekly departmental staff meetings

• Attends interdepartmental briefings
