PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
o The primary responsibility of this role is to acquire new customers who have a requirement for Business Loans/ Facilities
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
GFC
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Evaluates new business opportunities
Establishes a thorough understanding of the market dynamics and business trends
Identifies sales leads by determining strategic fit with GFC’s business objectives and product portfolio
o Acquires new clients
Converts leads successfully into new to product
Creates, negotiates and closes commercial agreements
o Manages 3rd party introducers like financial brokers/consultants
Develops a marketing plan to acquire new opportunities with 3rd party introducers like financial brokers/consultants
Converts opportunities provided through approved 3rd party introducers into sales
o Submits Credit Proposals
Obtains mandatory information from the customers to complete the Credit application, including corporate profile, business information, financial statements, management accounts, details of owners and shareholders etc.
Analyzes non-financial information and highlights the risks involved in the deal. Takes initiative to gather additional sources of information which will enhance the quality of the credit decision
o Improves quality of portfolio
Devises and implements strategy for meeting sales performance targets
Improves the quality of the portfolio through providing thorough, clear and well documented credit assessments.
o Maintains client relationships
Works with other GFC departments to ensure seamless delivery to clients
Owns the client experience and ensures high standards of service at all times
