The Role:
In this role you will lead the ecommerce proposition on order fulfilment (pick, pack, dispatch and delivery) and associated processes on an international scale as well as monitoring the performance of third parties to ensure customer satisfaction targets are met.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing cross-functional operational relationships to ensure business targets are met by providing leadership, motivation and by driving performance
* Continuously appraising the eCommerce Distribution Centre employees using the matrixed cross-functional approach
* Producing management information demonstrating performance to agreed KPIs
* Maintaining a perpetual inventory or daily line check of ecommerce lines
* Liaising with supply chain and central ecommerce teams to agree appropriate stock holding
* Ensuring unfulfilled demand is investigated and reported on in terms of root cause and future instances reduced
* Communicating routinely with ecommerce managers both locally and centrally
* Creating and implementing improvements to both the physical and process methods employed within dispatch.
Qualifications & Requirements
* You should have a post-secondary school education - diploma/degree in logistics desirable
* Should have minimum five years' experience in a managerial position within logistics
* Must have ecommerce distribution experience and knowledge of the commercials.
