Accounts Payable Accountant - Synergy

Role Purpose

Have responsibility for managing the Accounts Payable functions of the organisation including direct supervision of one staff member.

Duties and Responsibilities

Researching, analysing and resolving complex payment and vendor issues

Implementation and maintenance of systems, procedures and policies relating to the Accounts Payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines

Managing the monthly close of financial records and posting of month end information ensuring the accuracy of financial statements

Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations where applicable

Review and processing of supplier invoices through the Oracle system including review and preparation of purchase orders, payment requests and payment transfers

Ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments while maintaining appropriate cash flow management

Development of creditor reporting

Day to day management of payable staff
