Infrastructure Technical Architect Manager - Accenture Middle East

Infrastructure Architects professionals demonstrate skills and specific

experience in selecting, sizing, configuring and testing hardware infrastructure components, covering one or more of the Server, Storage and Network domains, and in estimating the required implementation effort and costs.



A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accentureon matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.

Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.



Responsibilities:

· Manage a number of concurrent Infrastructure based workstreams within the overall Technology Refresh Programme

· Monitor the overall project progress, resolving issues, initiating corrective action and referring major issues upwards to the Technology Refresh Programme Manager as appropriate

· Be responsible for project finance reporting and tracking including accruals from 3rd party costs, invoice reconciliation and time approval.

· Co-ordinate and foster teamwork and manage the knowledge and skills transfer within the project

· Manage the operational activities of vendors / 3rd party providers i.e. providing guidance and confirming / signing-off deliverables

· Manage project deliverables (i.e. output of project) and ensure that all project deliverables are to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan and coherent with the overall Technology Refresh Programme objectives and related business strategy

· Be responsible for the Quality Assurance and the overall integrity of the project

· Where appropriate, maintain oversight and approval on the user acceptance testing deliverables - approach, scope, sign-off criteria etc.

· Ensure that deployments are ready to be implemented to the live environment

· Communicate with all stakeholders

· Prepare the lessons learned, End Project report and any follow-on recommendations required
