Survey: Conduct Surveys on Marine Cargo, Dry and reefer container, Vessel surveys including condition survey, draft survey and outturn survey with a view to report on nature of damage, extent of damage, cause of damage, computation of value of damage, value of loss claim, recommendation on how to prevent loss in future .
Role will also be to and submit initial findings report within 24 hours and final fair and unbiased report within 30 days as per set guidelines to the Principals / clients.
Sales and Marketing : Marketing our services with importers, shipping companies and insurance companies with a view to increase market share, brand image
Reporting: Reporting market intelligence on competitor’s activities.
Service Excellence: Maintain good rapport with clients, inform clients about the status of surveys, cause of damage with a view to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
Adherence to Business Ethics - To ensure fair dealing and submission of fair and unbiased report in case of conflict of interest without compromising Inchcape Shipping Services business interest.
Customer Service excellence : Identify, understand and meet internal customer needs by demonstrating high level of commitment and applying maximum efforts to achieve results to the highest quality standards thus maintaining and exceeding customer satisfaction.
Revenue Generation : Conduct sales visits, telephone sales, prospecting new clients with a view to sell our services and generate revenue, enhancing market share within the defined area of responsibility and meet /exceed budgets:

Quality of Reports/Findings and correspondence
Standard and timeliness of survey coordination reports
Number of new Clients brought in.
Marketing and liaison with clients
Compliance to Lloyds and P&I requirements as well as customer service satisfaction to bring about more repeat and loyal clients
Appointments received from local insurers within the region per month
