Planning Engineer

Planning Engineer, with a Civil Engineering back ground and strong experience in the BUILDING based construction Industry:

• Prepares all production / Projects schedules and plans.

• Ensures that all programmed activities are on schedule.

• Ensures that all department heads / Project Engineers and subcontractors are aware of the plan.

• Analyze the progress data, updates the plan and informs those concerned.

• Attends progress meetings and reports on the current situation and notes all changes.

• Records the works additional to the original plan and all variations and revisions.

• Collect production and work progress for each projects analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.

• Monitors the site progress and prepares weekly ‘look ahead’ to maintain objectives.

• Establishment and development of Master Schedules for all projects.

• Review and Study of contractor’s claims.

• Formulating and developing Operational Plans and Schedules to meet project objectives

• To Prepare and effectively implement action plans to improve overall equipment efficiency of Production Machineries.(both TILT and HOLLOWCORE )

• Day to Day / Weekly / Monthly Production Planning and achieving maximum Production output.

• Assign work load to Foreman’s, Operator’s and to skilled workers to achieve Production targets.

• Arrangement of Approved drawing’s for Production.

• Monitoring of hourly Actual Production vs. hourly Production Plan.

• Shop Floor Administration, Handling Skilled Manpower.

• Coordinating with Shop Floor People to ensuring proper housekeeping.

• Daily Tool consumption, Production reports Preparation & down Time analysis.

• Coordinating with Quality and Maintenance Departments to meet 100% Scheduled Production Plan.

• Eliminating Useless work.

• Conducting Quality circle in Production line and Organizing Continuous Improvement on Product Quality.

• Identifying the Training needs and impart on the Job training to Departmental Personnel.

• To study the Upstart Meeting of the given Projects & New project assignment (NPA) Prepare Project budget and analyze current budget.
