About Your Job:
The QA/QC manager roles and responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
In Quality Planning:
- Assist in preparing the Quality Plan manual for Design and Supervision Office
- Manage quality improvement activities
- Create common business specific quality measurements and track improvement against these metrics.
- Awareness of Quality Systems and Best Management Practices for the business as a whole
- Coordinate with all employees and senior management and address business quality concerns.
- Adopt prevention over inspections procedures.
In Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and processes.
- Ensure that the processes adopted are fit to use and conform to requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring a product's quality is up to standard and safe for Clients
- Involved in every phase from development to production to submission to Clients
- Prevent defects in deliverables in the planning process itself to avoid the rework.
- Maintain quality audits, training, processes, and selection of proper tools.
- Define preventive actions to potential problems.
In Quality Control
- Develop and maintain quality control standards and processes.
- Inspections and product testing.
- Identify defects in the actual product being produced
- Ensure that the deliverables are defect free and acceptable as per the quality requirements set in the quality assurance process
- Define the suitable course of action for any corrective action required.
- Ensure people will follow the process defined by the quality assurance team so that the defect does not recur
