To manage the end to end freight logistics from the point of origin to point of consumption across all regions, divisions and brands within the client's remit, while delivering a process of continual review of current operating practice and improving the performance of the supply chain through carrier and route optimisation.

Description
- To develop route and services in advance of business growth for both new and existing brands
- To monitor and manage freight development and operational teams across multiple markets
- To ensure appropriate stock and delivery to regional stores and warehouses in coordination with the various brand teams
- To develop internal and external relations, ensuring effective communication
- To develop the teams to ensure KPIs are met, freight cost is reduced and improved service levels are maintained
- To develop existing and engage new third party suppliers, ensuring value for money for the client
Profile
15 - 20 years gained within retail and /o shipping (ideally retail), with at least 5 years experience in senior leadership roles
A degree in business, logistics management or a related field is essential
Certification in Transportation and Logistics is an added advantage
Strong organizational, leadership and effective people skills
