POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To participate in the annual strategic planning process and to monitor and review the performance against the planned objectives in the quarterly Strategic Planning & Corporate Performance meetings.
Maintain and expands existing business relationships with clients and develops and explores new opportunities to ensure continuous business growth in line with company’s strategic direction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and maintains strong customer relationships and superior customer satisfaction and acts as a professional and credible representative of the company at networking or industry events.
2. Represents the company at industry events and trade-shows, to generate new business leads and contacts.
3. Develops and manages long term strategic partnerships with senior managers in large organizations, especially as related to water and waste water treatment.
4. Develops and implements an effective business development plan to meet or exceed established strategic business objectives.
5. Prepares and recommends business plans (including profitability, risk assessment and SWOT analysis) for establishing new business relationships and presents it to the CEO for approval.
6. Negotiates long term contracts to achieve corporate, branch and project objectives and supports regional market growth.
7. Responsible for advertising and publicity initiatives on behalf of all in-line with budgetary allocations and company goals.
8. Develops and maintains cross-working relationships within and other company’s business units and key stakeholders.
9. Presents the company to potential clients through feasible communication channels to build long term stability for corporate, branch and project operations.
10. Develops strategies to develop and increase client base through client relationships.
11. Drafts professional, solution-based proposals that address the needs of clients efficiently and effectively, organizing the operations to maximize profitability.
12. Maintains databases (photos, project descriptions, commendations) for use in developing proposals and updates new information onto other business development materials and the company website. (e.g. company literature, website etc)
13. Oversee marketing research activities for appraising other similar companies’ vis-à-vis competition analysis and information. Ensures that all marketing intelligence / research is credible.
14. Coordinates customer relation activities and relationships on a corporate and branch level by providing consistent high quality services.
15. Develop working relationships with customers to understand and comprehend their specific requirements and discuss it with the Research & Development department.
16. Manage and monitor the performance of direct reports and provide guidance as and when required.
