MAINTENANCE ENGINNEER- - DESALINATION OR SURFACE WATER TREATMENTS - Techma Group

Specific duties and responsibilities:



• We will part of a plant operation team. The operation will be reporting to site management for activities planning and coordinate with client’s engineers and client’s sub-contractors.

• Responsible for operation support of mechanical equipment related to the water treatment industry such as pumps, mixers, scrappers, air compressors, air blowers, dosing systems, SS/GRP/MS/ERW piping, valves, penstocks, belt press, centrifuges, classifiers, conveyors, odour control equipment, screens, filters, etc…

• Prepare reports on daily, weekly, monthly reports to the Project Manager including all site activities (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Process, operation, etc...)

• Responsible for activities related to trouble shooting and repair works during operation of the plant.

• Maintenance engineers are responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. They use computerised systems to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs. They are also involved in control and monitoring devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance.

• designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;

• planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work;

• diagnosing breakdown problems;

• carrying out quality inspections on jobs;

• liaising with client departments and customers;

• arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;

• controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;

• monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;

• dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs;

• writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines

• Any other requests asked by the Project Manager.

• Implement the QHSE / IMS polices and processes as per the standards and company requirements
