SAP ABAP Programmer

To plans, develops, tests and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.

♦ Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved. Converts project specifications using flowcharts and diagrams into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language process-able by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer language.

♦ Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections. Write manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Assist users to solve operating problems.

♦ May train users to use program, provide technical assistance to users, install and test program at user site, monitor performance of program after implementation. May specialize in developing program for business or technical applications.

♦ Support ERP solution that will entail knowledge of the business processes, analysis, problem solving, and effective communications to the users.

♦ Perform technical development including design, development, testing and implementation.

♦ Work with Finance, HR, Sales, Production, Procurement, Maintenance on Design Development and Maintenance of ERP applications/reports customization.
