Purpose of the job or role:
Accountable for successful, sustainable and effective delivery of WPS Services and Solutions.
The WPS Delivery Leader (WSDL) acts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role acts as a liaison between the site / end users and the Regional WPS Delivery organization, WPS Suppliers and the global WPS Service Delivery Teams
The WSDL is the direct supplier interface for IT Service providers, local to the sites and which are integral to the WPS Delivery Model.
This role also promotes and educates end users regarding the available WPS products and services.
This role acts as the partner project manager in the implementation of Information Technology Infrastructure and Service projects.
The delivery leader profile requires a deep knowledge of the capabilities of the broad suite of WPS products with specialization in Information Technology.
This role emphasizes collaboration and client engagement, supports the Regional WPS Manager in relationship management and directing the best solution for our clients. The role focuses on relationship management with site leadership teams, Work group contacts and site focal points. In addition the role collaborates with the WPS service teams and outsourcing partners to meet performance objectives and deliver service excellence all within corporate affordability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Relationship Management - Enhance WPS credibility by establishing and maintaining relationships at the sites.
Geographic account and WPS Delivery Management
Act as Partner Project Manager during the execution of site specific WPS projects - Facilities and IT infrastructure.
Act as a regional liaison, coordinator and ambassador for implementing global projects like enterprise workstation, Voice over IP, Print Copy Scan Fax (PCSF), etc. at a site level
Lead site specific WPS IT infrastructure projects that require involvement of local suppliers and/or local departments.
Participate in due diligence activities linked to Merger and Acquisitions.
Coordinate activities about Dow office moves and/or consolidations.
Computer Room Management - Manage the physical security, availability, reliability and maintainability for local and remote computer rooms.
Business Continuity
Collaborate with site management to identify site specific business critical activities where failing WPS services could result in a significant negative business impact.
Develop and/or integrate WPS business continuity solutions into site specific business continuity plans as required. Leverage MET solutions and global business continuity plans for standard services. Adapt plans to meet site specific needs. Communicate plans.
Manage service providers
Partner with our strategic outsourcing providers in the region to ensure effective delivery of WPS services and solutions. Monitor performance of local Field Service teams against service levels and spending targets. Drive service escalations and improvements to the WPS Hub Leader. Recognize teams as appropriate.
Act as local site safety sponsor for our strategic outsourcing providers and ensure they are aware and comply with site safety and operating policies.
Works with third party facilities management service providers to achieve performance targets of facilities operations. Contractor sponsor to the site.
