Galle Face Hotel has commenced a major restoration program to return Sri Lanka’s most iconic property to the position of Sri Lanka’s premier deluxe hotel to coincide with its 150th anniversary in 2014. Work is already underway restoring rooms & suites, banqueting and meeting rooms, restaurants & bars to the highest standard while retaining authentically to location and history. Assistant Chief Steward
Assist the chief steward and supervise stewarding day - to - day operations. Maintain the standard of hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and safety in kitchens.
• Operating equipment knowledge & working knowledge
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• English spoken - written
• Computer literate
EDUCATION: High school certificate
EXPERIENCE: Operational experience in 5 or 4 Star hotels for 5 -7 years, International experience preferable.
