Commercial Director - GPT

1. Lead the GPT Commercial Department and be fully accountable for effective delivery of Commercial, Sub-contracting and Procurement services to all GPT operational functions, in order to exceed the expectations of the GPT Clients,



2. Key member of GPT Management Board.



3. Manage competitive procurement and commercial processes, for multiple requirements, in accordance with the policies and strategies of GPT, and always in accordance with the Head Contracts.



4. Provide relevant information to the Parent Organization, including support to the Chief Financial Officer for projects out with the delegated financial limits.



5. Manage all commercial and contractual matters (with respect to supply and sales chain) during the bid and delivery phase including issuance of PQQ’s, RFI’s, RFPs, ITTs to potential subcontractors / suppliers.



6. Provide guidance, support and advice to the project teams to enable them to adhere to contractual obligations, company processes and procedures, including phase reviews and tender vetting.



7. Be responsible for ensuring that commercial / contractual risks are reported (within GPT and its Parent Organization), managed, mitigated, with risk assessments performed as required.



8. Create and maintain co-operative working relationships with the GPT Clients team and sub-contractors.



9. Assist in identifying and evaluating and supporting GPT Clients business opportunities, and in defining and implementing policy and future strategy.



10. Transition committed work packages from New Business Team to Projects teams, through the execution of the procurement / subcontract letting process.



11. Liaise with all suppliers, local and international on all commercial aspects prior to, during, and subsequent to the procurement process.



12. Execute Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supplier Agreements, MOUs and other agreements as required.



13. Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers / subcontractors as required.



14. Manage relationships with all associated suppliers in a productive manner in order to exceed customer satisfaction.



15. Empowered to commit the company within appropriate delegated financial limits.



16. Establish and negotiate subcontract / purchase terms and conditions which are back to back with the Head Contracts.



17. Negotiates and executes all contractual agreements and changes on Head contracts.
