The OAM has the responsibility for implementing a continuous improvement regime. In addition, he has to make sure that risks are correctly assessed, identified and managed for all operational areas though actively coaching the teams to optimize delivery.
- Work with Director to deliver continuous improvement across Engineering
- Acts as an expert ‘Troubleshooter’ when it comes to solving technical problems
- Identify and implement best practices to drive team performance
- Identify and build improvements plans for each section and coach the team to maximize the changes of success.
- Introduce new/revise Policies & Procedures and introduce innovation to improve the performance of the department.
- Coach the unit heads from a personal development perspective to improve their overall skillsets.
- Conduct inspections to assess quality and provide hands-on support and training to bridge the gaps identified. Recommend and implement improvements.
- Manage to establish standard operating procedures for the development and execution of projects.
- Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality/performance matters
