Oxy Oman - Expeditor - Contract - Huxley Associates

Huxley Associates Dubai is actively recruiting an Expeditor to join our client at their office in Muscat, Oman for a six month contract.



The candidates must possess the following credentials:





Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in a related subject is preferable; equivalent work experience- 4 to 7 years related experience in the Oil & Gas industry





Responsibilities:

- Follow up with suppliers to meetPOpromised date.- Ensure that suppliers provide all certificates along with materials.- Working with finance to ensure on time payment.- Determine reasons for discrepancies and coordinate with end user to sort out the issue.- Ensure effective support of the project objectives- Ensure department management is kept appraised of any potential problem areas- Ensure revised delivery schedules for critical orders are reported to the project team and the status report is updated in a timely fashion- Review weekly/monthly project expediting reports- Review vendor's production schedule with Discipline Engineer and/or Project Engineer and other procurement disciplines (i.e. Inspection and logistics) to ensure production steps are correct and achievable.- Ensure vendors and internal engineering department are expedited in a timely manner for all documentation submissions and reviews- Ensure the timely involvement of the logistics group to obtain expeditious shipment of all equipment and materials.
