Full Time Regular - Based in Abu Dhabi
ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join one of the largest and most profitable Geomarkets in the Middle East. The successful individual will be managing a team of 4 HR Managers who are based in different locations, for 6 Countries. In addition to managing their own region, this individual will be responsible to oversee the smooth running of the other Geomarkets. This region contains 5 Country Directors, so it is important that someone can liaise effectively at this level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop, implements and coordinate policies and programs covering several of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, and personnel research.
Partner departments such as Finance, Legal and Compliance, and Health and Safety
Overseeing a headcount of 1700 which makes USD 700 million.
Counsel managers on HR policies, procedures and programs.
Consolidating information across various countries to present to Director level
Providing an International partnership with some of the Baker Hughes customers
Meeting Nationalization targets as per country initiative – in particular for Oman and Yemen
Strategic planning with hands on experience.
Talent Management and Succession Planning
Performance management as required.
Communicating HR related programs or initiatives to managers and employees.
Retention and Employee Relations.
Providing Comp and Bens information as required
Develops short and long range strategic plans for effective utilization of HR.
Will be given broad discretion and autonomy in decision making.
Working towards various KPI’s such as Revenue per head count, support ratio, diversity and retention.
Handling special projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Master's Degree is a plus.
12+ years HR experience including supervisory experience.
Experience in managing a region with headcount of 1000-2000 employees.
Experience in all HR related activities.
Experience in oil and gas industry is a must.
Should currently be working for an International company.
Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Must have demonstrable experience in changing work environments and the effects associated in the HR area.
Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team.
