Our client, a leading International Oil and Gas Exploration company with over 50 year's industry experience is currently looking to recruit a Senior Pipeline / Integrity Engineer to maintain, inspect and evaluate ongoing pipeline integrity and reliability. The role will office based with at least 4 trips offshore annually and is offered on a 12 month contract.
Main purpose and focus of the role will be:
Ensure pipeline inspection plans are developed and kept up to date
Keep pipeline matrix current and ensure it reflects latest pipeline operating conditions and parameters
Ensure cleaning programmes are adhered to and resolve any issues associated with overdue cleaning
Responding quickly to changes in look ahead condition reports and constantly review operating conditions
The successful candidate should have the following experience and education:
BSc / MSc Metallurgy / Materials / Mechanical Engineering
Chartered Engineer status
15+ years experience in corrosion, inspection and pipeline integrity for offshore oil and gas production
Capable of managing large scale pipeline inspection programmes
Broad experience of statistical analysis of pipeline data as a means of evaluating inspection results
Previous experience of working within an Oil and Gas operator preferred.
