Apply Project Management and Planning knowledge to project and operate project management tools and techniques to meet the project requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Project Controls systems and tools are properly used across the Programme and that Project Execution Requirements (PERs) are adhered to.
2. Delivery timely, accurate and integrated Project Controls information that facilitates a clear understanding of the performance of the Infrastructiure Programme and its component projects in relation to planned targets.
3. Ensure data integrity is maintained through the life cycle of the Programme.
4. Provide management with clear visibility of performance, and the implications and movement of cost integrated schedules and change as the programme and its projects progress by maintaining the baselines and audit trails for deliverables and other documentation.
5. Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) across the Programme, using Earned Value Analysis (EVA) tools and methodologies to develop, track and interpret earned value metrics, perform variance analyses, and cost forecasting.
6. Manage the collection and maintenance of all information that supports the reporting of progress, measures achievement, and exception and variances against planned performance/ expected benefits in KPIs and business cases.
7. Promote through word and action, a single integrated team culture that values openness and transparency, and ensures data integrity is maintained throughout the life cyle of the Programme.
8. Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirement through the application of the Primavera P6 software.
9. Identify the project deliverables, milestones and required tasks and targets to determine the staffing requirement, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project through the project measurement system.
10. Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/ weekly/ monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project.
11. Progress monitoring of specific projects on a regular basis. Anticipate and resolve any problems. Bottlenecks/ scheduling conflicts. Prepare and maintain package work plans and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
12. Co-ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems. Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required and keep the management and Project Director apprised of the progress on a regular basis.
13. Ensures that project controls documents such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc. are fully develop by the designated personnel and reviewed by Construction Management and that Engineering Procurement interfaces are properly addressed.
14. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Supervisor.
