Visual Merchandiser - United International Business (UIB)

PURPOSE

The visual merchandiser is responsible for maintaining and enhancing proper in-store merchandising and window display in accordance with the brand guidelines, shop image and company standards .He is mainly responsible of keeping the image of the company's stores .



Key Accountabilities

1-Performs appropriate display and visual merchandising in accordance with the brand guidelines to enhance sales and attract customers to the stores .

2-Dressing mannequins and making use of creative lighting for window display .Develops lay-outs plans lighting arrangements and selects themes, colors and props to be used .

3- Setting up a " model " or "mock" store according to the brand's latest design directives, and then photographing the store's windows, wall bays and displays in order to create a visual merchandising manual to send out to other stores to ensure consistency of the store's image in coordination with VM manager .

4-Impleneting the designs and plans created by the VM manager, which may involve work such as lifting, carrying and climbing ladders.

5- Preparing for promotional events and dismantling displays at the end of promotional periods .Oversees requisition and construction of decorative materials .

6-Installing and dismantling displays, using available space to best advantage .

7- Coordinates with store managers to improve visibility of slow moving items .

8- Gives feedback to concerned departments in the HQ and liaising closely with store managers and buyers .

9- Trains the store's team about design concepts, visual display standards, and the proper maintenance of the overall visual display efforts in coordination with store managers .

10-Oversees, adjusts and targets all lighting that are complementing mannequins, table forms, focal zones, icon walls and fixtures along main aisles .

11- Moves and positions store merchandise and maintains an organized, visually appealing and welcoming store environment,

12- Works in a safe manner with minimum disruption to the selling process and maintains a clean and organized work area .
