Business Development Executive - Pest Control



The purpose of this role is to identify, source and secure both long term and short term business opportunities whilst maintaining a customer focused service.



The surveyor is responsible for developing the new business opportunities within both the current new customer bases in accordance with the Rentokil Pest Control sales strategy.



Surveyors focus on client retention by ensuring that the customers’ on-going expectations and requirements are exceeded.



The surveyor is accountable for complying with Health & Safety regulations within customer premises as well as adhering to all Rentokil Pest Control guidelines and procedures at all times





Key Responsibility



To sell the benefits of Pest Prevention to Businesses and residential properties within a geographical area.



To devise and implement a bespoke system of pest control / prevention



To ensure all job work and contract work is priced accurately



To accurately complete all paperwork ensuring this is submitted within company timescales



To achieve reasonable targets



To build and maintain effective working relationships with clients within a geographical area.



To support the local technician by completing detailed surveys, carrying out physical inspections and leaving a detailed report of work required



To be able to plan and prioritise workload effectively and be able to work with minimal supervision



To communicate technical knowledge to customers in clear reassuring manner



To able to identify and develop new business opportunities



To undertake a risk assessment and report any issues identified



To be able to explain confidently to the client work that is required within their premises to eradicate and maintain a pest free environment ensuring the client fully understands the benefits to their business



To be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written



To undertake a comprehensive training programme within an agreed timescale and continue to develop technical knowledge on-going



To communicate on a daily basis with the Admin Support Centre



To attend customer meetings as required



To ensure the business instructions regarding the Health and Safety of staff and customers, other site contractors, the public and the environment are adhered to



To ensure all sales data and records are up to date



To process sales using the sales order process



Critical Competencies



• Numerate with Good Grades in Maths, English, Biology and IT

• Good level of Literacy

• Held customer facing role Background in Sales

• Able to provide references Worked in Customer Service

• PC Literate (use of email and Microsoft packages)

• Clear communication skills Good Presentation Skills

• Holds a driving licence

• Arabic Speaking

• To be based in Abu Dhabi
