Chief Accountant - Amiantit Groups of Companies

Supervise the accounting department including coordination among the accounting teams and approval of all entries.



Supervise, check, review and participate in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting and ensure that the financial reporting is done accurately and on a timely manner.



Ensure that accounting related policies and procedures are adhered to and that accounting records are properly supported and maintained.



Prepare other required financial, management and governmental reports and information. Conduct any review or audit in coordination with the Finance Manager by the Auditors (whether external or internal).



Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse, ensure that goods purchased under a letter of credit are properly received and recorded. Coordinate with production control department to ensure that the stock is properly reported (physical inventories-continuous updating of PC records).



Coordinate with the Finance manager, prepare the annual budget . Explain in coordination with the relevant head of departments the variances to actual. Coordinate with EDP to ensure that the system are maintained properly. Ensure that computer reports are issued accurately and timely.



Prepare cash-flows, forecast and projections on a continuous basis.



Combine the financial statements of the company (where applicable). Helps marketing in following-up that accounts receivable are collected in accordance with contract terms and provide management with a monthly analysis of outstanding customers balance.



Keep and maintain the necessary position of letter of credits given and received and communicate necessary related information. Check the terms of letter of credits opened in favor of the company. Check the filing of tax department and ensure it is ready on time.



Evaluate accounting department employees performance. Assist the Finance Manager, as and when required.
