Purchasing - Logistics Officer

The role is to assist the purchasing manager is his main duties being purchasing, logistics and financial follow up.



Purchasing

Prepare and send purchase orders to suppliers

Enter purchase orders in Great Plains Accounting Software

Check invoices and schedule payments

Follow up due payments with accounting

Prepare purchasing procedures

Assist in purchasing budget



Logistics

Get, compare and negotiate shipping quotes

Coordinate shipping on consolidated containers

Check documents



Reporting

Stock reports

Purchasing reports



Administrative

Maintain organized filing
