The role of the Sales Officer is to maximize store sales by providing a positive shopping experience to customers by greetings them, and offering them direction, information, and suggesting product solutions that fulfill customer needs and wants.
Accountable For:
• Generating sale opportunities by engaging customers.
• Ensuring consistent service quality delivery when engaging with all customers.
• Have working knowledge of all in-store promotions, such as credit facilities, activities etc.
• Caring for specified sales area, ensuring it is clean, tidy and full
• Ensuring all displays are as instructed by the Visual Merchandisers
• Preparing monthly Purchasing feedback form for his / her area
• Reporting and processing damaged display items to Sales Manager
• Doing regular stock checks and liaising with stock control
• Keeping all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential
• Representing the company in the best way possible at all times, whether on or off duty
• Contributes to team effort by cross-selling and achieving all related KPI’s
