Brand Manager - Fayha Company Ltd

Typical tasks are likely to include:

•Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits

•Looking at the pricing of products and analyzing the potential profitability

•Generating names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, colors, fonts and imagery

•Overseeing the production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers

•Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines

•Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research

•Co-coordinating the launch programme to external customers as well as employees.



Strategic Marketing

•Develop a forward looking vision of the market & brand

•Assess the positioning of each product and their consistency with the positioning of the brands

•Gather and analyze information required for the Long Term Plan

•Draw up marketing mix strategies and an action plan for them



Product Innovation

•Explore, gather, generate and formulate insights in all areas

•Generate ideas for new products and transform them into concepts

•Assess the relevance of concepts

•Recommend and develop the marketing mix

•Co-ordinate feasibility studies (economic, legal and industrial)

•Recommend and implement the launch plan



Operational Marketing

•Product / Packaging / Promotion: assess performance, recommend and implement

•creative actions and optimization measures, ensure good planning

•Copy / Media: participate in the implementation of advertising campaigns and assess the effectiveness of advertising copy

•Distribution: draw up sales propositions and recommend merchandising layout

•Pricing: analyze and recommend retail prices

•Lead and co-ordinate all actions and ensure adherence to budget and schedules across all cross-functional departments internally, and all external departments (suppliers/agencies)

•Recommend and implement market research studies

•Present marketing projects to Marketing / Sales Committees.
