Gallery Sales Associate

The main job of the Gallery Sales Associate is to promote and sell art work displayed in our gallery.



1. Greet visitors in a courteous, friendly manner; assist walk-in customers in the Gallery, answer questions and provide information about artwork;

2. Inform and educate our customers about our range of products;

3. Places customers orders, answers calls, and handle inquiries;

4. Receives payments (cash, credit or debit cards);

5. Arrange for delivery of artwork (if needed);

6. Develop client lists, notify clients of artwork of their interest;

7. Be up to date with industry developments and market trends;

8. Create window and in-store displays of artwork;

9. Maintain orderliness and neatness of gallery, ensuring that everything is sorted, clean and organized;

10. Meets or exceeds our sales targets;

11. Assist in planning and attend gallery events;

12. Any other tasks assigned.
