GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Performs proactive monitoring, complex evaluations and troubleshooting of SAP systems and Provides optimal technical solutions and coordinates efforts between various cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and stability of SAP applications.

Responsible for implementations, maintenance, and administration for all SAP Server (SolMan, DEV, Quality and production) Installs, configures, upgrade, deploys, and maintains.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Implement and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production)

• Develop SAP landscape and technical architecture designs to meet the project requirements

• Excellent understanding of SAP architecture solutions and landscape

• Coordinate daily troubleshooting efforts for business users

• Coordinate with system vendors to resolve systems issues in a timely manner.

• SAP system troubleshooting, problem solving, capacity planning, tuning and application serve load balancing,homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies, ccms and solution manager auto-alert configuration, as well as day-to-day monitoring and administration of SAP systems.

• Lead the SAP authorization configuration and roll assignment

• Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required

• Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.

• Apply and migrate SAP maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology

• Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces

• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change

• Background and Batch Job Maintenance

• System Transport Management (STMS)

• SAP Print Management and Spool Administration

• User and Authorization Management

• SAP Client Administration

• SAP Problem Management

• Basis Support such as maintaining instance profiles

• SAP system administration, monitoring and Tuning

• Archiving and Deletion of Process Documents

• SAP Database backup and restore

• Monitoring and administration of SAP ERP System instances
