Social Media Executive - The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

Responsible for daily posts/ tweets to all applicable social media outlets, other duties include coordinating the marketing calendar with online activity. Tracking social media influence measurements by understanding, interpreting and communicating report such as Brand Karma, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks and in line with the brand. The preparing of reports on usage statistics and the continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites. This role coordinates with the internal Marketing, PR and eCommerce teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency of tone of voice and cultivating a social media referral network.

• A strong knowledge of upscale, deluxe hotels

• Knowledge of operations and associated challenges for all brands

• Ability to influence others

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships ., associates, customers, vendors

• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).

• Strong organization skills

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr, Hootsuite etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios

• Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to the Company’s field

• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships

• Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary

• Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

• Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO

• Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management experience

• Good organization skills
