Competitive salary
This position is for a Boeing Team Lead of a C-17 Supply team based initially in Dubai before moving to Abu Dhabi.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• This individual will provide on-site C-17 Field Services Supply Chain Support to the UAE AF customer which includes planning activities to relocate the supply function to new facilities at Abu Dhabi.
• The successful candidate will work directly with the customer at various seniority levels on a daily basis including General Officer senior military officials.
• This individual will serve as the Team Lead for the Supply Team and will undertake direct liaison with the UAE customer and the Boeing Supply Support team based in Huntington Beach, CA.
• They will work closely with the UAE's maintenance and supply contractor AMMROC to ensure stock, store, and issue functions run effectively through inventory control programs and processes; research, analyze and develop advanced concepts in deployment of products and services and represent Boeing C-17 Field Services at the industry level on customer issues as required.
• They will develop advanced concepts, establish implementation plans and determine forecasting requirements; use business, communications and leadership experience/training to make decisions and work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to adapt to a foreign cultural environment.
• Field experience supporting airlift and expertise with Boeing Defense Supply Support systems, Buyer Certification, C-17 Repair of Repairables processes, and the GOLD system are desired.
• Knowledge of Boeing C-17 spares and supply support processes and procedures, USAF logistics support operations and systems, familiarity with Air Force Material Management Systems (SBSS, DO43, and GO81) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, preferably C-17, and proven ability to develop creative supply solutions to complex logistic support problems will also be an advantage.
• A highly energetic, skilled professional is required to fill this position supporting the UAE C-17 fleet and the forthcoming relocation to Abu Dhabi.
