Van Sales Manager

Manage all aspects of the customer relationships & works effectively in a team environment

• Achieving revenue & margin goals.

• To understand and evaluate the market dynamics and competitive environment

• Develop and recommend multi-year and annual sales force plans

• Deliver Sales annual plan by achieving targets for sales activities

• Provide input on volume targets, price positioning, channel promotions and competitors strategies

• Trade loan return on investment, bad debts and accounts receivables accountabilities

• Manage pricing within set boundaries

• Sales forecasting and Expense budgeting.

• Develop and drive the implementation of recommended Customer and Sales management against agreed Volume and GM Targets

• Should have a legal understanding of contracts and commercial trade

• Regular collation of accurate revenue forecasts for each market space.

• Focuses on passionate delivery of a positive and rewarding customer experience according to Castrol standards

• Co-sell to prospects and customers alongside the sales teams



• Develop, implement and regulate business and marketing plans.

• Present, promote and sell the Castrol vision to the team.

• Actively engage Marketing and work with Castrol marketing to develop and implement pipeline generation activities.

• Increases business penetration

• Retention/Development focuses on maintaining and expanding business relationships/market share with existing Castrol customers

• Acquisition focuses on identifying, targeting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities

• Focuses on out-bound sales campaigns and efficiently completing/closing the sales; all must effectively utilize Castrol’s tools and work closely with the necessary resources and field to meet sales objectives

• Respect and adhere to customer and internal Company rules and disclosures at all times.
