2. JOB PURPOSE The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organisation's perspective.
To ensure annual point of B2C sales targets are achieved as per plan while also to develop, manage, mentor the Assistant Managerteam performance in Direct sales achievement.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy
• Participates in the formulation and implementation of the B2CDirect Sales function’s strategy to ensure the alignment with SHELL’s strategy
Policies, Processes and Procedures
• Participates and recommends improvements to the B2CDirect Sales function’s policies, processes and procedures and manages their implementation in own division to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled
Day-to-day management
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the B2CDirect Sales function’sproviding guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
• Liaises with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interactions
Job Specific
• Develop attach plans for key Direct sales prospects and close Direct customer business
• To have monthly meetings with the Assistant Manager to discuss issues related to sales results compared to targets.
• To ensure that the OCS Shell display is at least 30%.
• To examine every possibility to introduce any products and services this will generate higher profitability to JOSLOC.

• To ensure loyalty schemes as well as any trade promotion are implemented effectively and quickly.
• To coach and conduct OJT to the Assistant Manager & Direct Sales Executive on Sales Mastery, Negotiating Skills and Leadership.
• To maintain sales and market intelligence data at all time.
• To implement and keep safety measures at all times in all operations.
• To monitor all KPIs to ensure achievement of set targets.
• Be prepared to provide detail reporting detail to the B2C Direct Sales Manager on Monthly Revenue
• .To visit three regions at least once a year.
• To visit ten oil change shops on a monthly basis.
• To maintain safety records and report any safety violation incidents to B2C Direct Sales Manager.
• To maintain training records and development for every member of staff.
• To ensure no fraud takes place and report any fraudulent incident directly to B2C Direct Sales Manager.
• To perform any other functions as required in relation to the job.
• Provide write-ups "for approval of any "out of box" sales to hand-off with sales orders to JOSLOC Operations/Accounting for upfront visibility.
• Promote a positive sales and service TEAM aspect at JOSLOC while acting in a professional manner
Reporting
• Reviews all division reports for accuracy and in order to ensure that they conform with Company and department requirements, policies and standards
Budget
• Contributes to the preparation of the Direct Sales function’s budget, and monitors the financial performance versus set budget to ensure alignment.
People Management
• Manages the effective achievement of division objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance and transfer knowledge
HSSE
• Ensures compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the division in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment
